Assembly

Sew nose in place to bottom centre front of hat and stuff as required with filling before finishing and sewing in end.

Sew buttons in place beside nose (see photos), and stitch ears in place

Braids

For each braid cut 9 lengths of wool to approximately 60cm in length. Thread through end of ear flap so you have equal length each side and either make a plait, or i prefer a twisted braid. To make the twisted braid twist one half clockwise and the other half anti clockwise and when tight, let the two twist around each other. Secure the ends with a knot and tie a knot at the hat end to finish off

And there you have it! one polar bear hat.
